Walking in my shoes and loving it.

In this soon to be released book
learn how your unique gifts can actually change the world for the better.

It takes courage to allow your unique gifts to shine for all to see.

Even though she was a successful Registered Nurse, Shannon felt inside out, upside down, and backwards.  She felt she was an imposter, a misfit, and it was only a matter of time before someone found out.  Instead what she discovered was a way to become comfortable with her unique gifts.  It takes courage to walk in your own shoes and love it.  Using stories and examples from her life, Shannon escorts you on the winding and often unpredictable path to discover your unique gifts.

Shannon McFadden is an artist, author, and healer. She obtained her Registered Nurse diploma through Mount Royal University and practiced Nursing at the Calgary General Hospital and Peter Lougheed Center for over 25 years.

She has taken many courses and workshops in natural healing modalities, painting and sewing. Shannon practices spirituality, painting, sewing, designing, writing, healing, and teaching in the Calgary area. Her passion is writing and color.  Her talent is helping people feel better about themselves and using color to make beautiful things.

Shannon McFadden currently lives in Calgary Alberta, where she shares her home with her husband, 2 children, their partners, a new granddaughter, and a dog named Russel.  She enjoys her family, new projects, and is always creating.

I bet Shannon is a great nurse. I love how she admits that she feels isolated or sometime different. That's what I am feeling right now, like those who I expected support are the ones who are trying to impose what they think is right and acceptable. - Corrine of tutorsville

I have always truly loved Shannon's insights. In our delightful tea visits, we have had the opportunity to learn much from each other. She is a beautiful soul, and her words are always helpful, and cause you to think. I cannot wait for the unveiling of this book, I'm proud of her work, and how comfortable she is with herself. We should all be like this. Many blessings and Love, Shannon.

I was checking my fb thinggie this afternoon, and I saw that you have asked me to be your friend. I checked your fb page first and saw that you were very positive about everything on your page, which I liked. I read some of your postings and liked them as well. You seem to be intelligent, positive about things and whatever. I remember yrs ago when my mother taught my siblings and I to surround ourselves with like individuals (people who's either similar to how you are and or better). I didn't listen to much to her then, but I understand now, lol.I've wasted a lot of yrs of my life, but I'm ready now to learn, try harder and do all that I can do to make up for lost time, and make a difference in my own life first; then help other dyslexic, adhd, add, and learning disabled people, both young and older. Thank you for your listening....
